Use output of Java program on PIC.
« on: February 28, 2012, 05:50:26 AM »
I learned PIC assembly at school and for my project course i want to build an automated paintball gun. The target identification will be calculated via a webcam and a java algoritm. Het pan and tilt of the gun will be controlled with a pic microcontroller.

No i know how to code in the algoritm, i know how to code the microcontroller to adjust servo positions. But i have no idea how to link both.

Can you guys give me any tips/names about this? The gun will always be connected to a laptop wich has the usb cam on it for the targeting algoritm.

Java learn where target is, calculates the adjustments for the servo's and sends it to the microcontroller wich sets the position.   (i don't get how to fix the underlined)
