Robot Controller
« on: February 03, 2008, 09:35:47 AM »
Hi all
I saw a robot at CMU that was using a palm pilot as its controller.
They had an apache web server hosting a visual basic application that showed the laser returns, robots status (voltage, operating mode, CPU usage, etc...) and also let you control it from the display.
Then they used a palm pilot to bring up the web interface.

Just a neat idea I thought I would Share.

yes i have a book about that

well i have the ebook , and i never got around to read it , but think about it

Palm pilots have an LCD scree, IR communication port, decent processing power , decent memory
Check out the Roboduino, Arduino-compatible board!
