Transparency in SolidWorks
« on: May 10, 2007, 05:39:33 AM »
Hello,
I designed a robot in SolidWorks 2006 Pro but I am having a small problem when configuring the colors and materials for the body/chassis. My robot will be mainly made of translucent(50%) and colorful(green and blue) acrylic glass. Does someone knows how to make the features in SW transparent or, better, translucent?

Thanks in advance

Click the color palette box in the top toolbar on the screen. On the left side a toolbox opens up. Expand the optical properties list and you can adjust the transparency, shininess, and a lot of other things.
