Opinion on MikroElektronika programming suit?
« on: February 27, 2011, 05:57:39 AM »
I recently found this programming suit / development tool:

http://www.mikroe.com/eng/categories/view/2/compilers/

They support PIC32, PIC, AVR...
Has anybody used this suit?
Is it any good?

They can be downloaded free with some limitations...
And Admin said "Let there be robots!"
And it was good.

Why?
Microchip has the free MPLAB and C compilers that support all PICs and have full integrated support for the programming and debugging tools.

Ok, if you really want to program in BASIC then MikroElektronika would be the way to go.

For a PIC32 and the other higher end PICs I prefer C.
