Need help finding LED's
« on: February 24, 2012, 08:22:24 PM »
Hi! Could anyone help me find two LED's that are between 5-10 watts?

They need to be very bright and preferably the standard light color. (not blue, red, green, etc...)

Thanks!

Google broke?

Try BestHongKong.com or even DealExtreme.

They'll be bright, just compare them to 75mW LED's  ;)

Standard light color??
Assuming you mean white by that, you still need to define the color of the white, as they come in a wide range of "whites", from very bluish white to a very yellowish white (more yellow than an incandescent lamp).
The bluish whites are the most efficient, but with them, color recognition sucks big time.

A rather fast and fairly heavy robot with quite large wheels needs what? A lot of power?
