Well you did over simplify us a bit. There are actually some complex rules and we vote on them and change them once in a while. We actually shoot BBs and 3/16, 7/32 and 1/4" ball bearings. The sides of the ships are balsa but the frames are hard and there is internal shielding to protect critical components. Most ships use CO2 gas systems and we have penetration tests to make sure the guns aren't too powerful. We wear goggles or face shields and occasionally get shot in the leg which can hurt quite a lot. Some people have even bled when shot at close range, but the normal shot to the shin just hurts a bit.
BUMP:At first i thought that it was gonna be all like lasers that will turn of the ship or something like that.. Well then i saw the first one sink and that was awesome!
