my first robot

 8) i finished my first r/c robot it only took me about 20 min to make

it uses 2 servos as motors with some wheels i found.

it even has lights and has great range.

strong little bugger to it can push 3 pounds of dead weight

will post movie and pics as soon as i fix my web cam

all suggestions welcome
robot will rule the world and i will be building them

20 minutes of assembling the chassis maybe'

research , troubleshooting , and all the other stuff is probably not included

After figuring out all the problems then building the complete chassis took 20 mins.

If its R/C then I can believe that it took 20 minutes to assemble together the ready made parts and previously planned chassis. ( its just servos to receiver to battery )


Or maybe cooldog is just super awesome and has a team of robots aiding him. lol


hey cooldog may I ask which receiver / transmitter you used?

i just stuck my and in my box of parts and stuck them together vola!

you have like 100+ posts made, many with questions - I call that research :P

I tend to spend weeks/months in design and research, and under 24 hours building start to finish. If I didn't make so many dumb mistakes (darn screw holes!), I'd say less than 15 hours . . .

it is more of a temp robot i used hotglue and velcro to mount the parts
