Need Eagle CAM help
« on: June 15, 2009, 11:59:40 PM »
I created a schematic and board now and would like to use the eagle cam processor to produce a prototype.  The problem is I have no Idea what I'm doing.  The board I designed is attached as a pdf.

Sonictj,

I had to do the same thing for my board when I sent out the order at BatchPCB. I looked at their FAQ and over the Sparkfun tutorials and in the end I just run the Sparkfun's cam processor file which created all the files needed for me. I zipped the files, uploaded to the site and the board passed the DRC bot scan without problems.

I just didn't know how to generate the Gerber files.  I was unfamiliar with the CAM portion of Eagle.

you don't need to open them, just zip 'em up and send 'em to the board fab house :P

I would recommend a Gerber viewing program so that you can confirm everything is OK first.  A free DFM from Advanced Circuits is also advisable.
