Post by: paulstreats on January 31, 2008, 09:01:47 AM
Hey admin,

Im not sure if you are aware that the 5 pack of photoresistors in the $50 robot are a 5 pack of different resistances (resulting in different detection levels). Ive just read the user comments and it appears that they are all different

When I got the five pack I was able to pair up two that were the same (the mid-sized ones), but I think I ended up frying one when I was soldering it anyway. I was getting waaay different values from them.

Yea, there are 5 of them, I am aware.

There are two pairs with the same resistance, and a 5th one of a different resistance.

Gives you multiple options . . .
