Need help choosing Robot Kit
«

Hey guys I am looking into buying a smaller robot kit. I am looking at getting this one here
http://www.robotshop.ca/dagu-mr-general-mobile-robotic-platform.html.
I don't no anybody with one and I have not found any more info on it. I want the kit for having it drive around itself avoiding objects and such. eventually hoping to add a robotic arm or other device.
Any opinions on it would be helpful!!
P.S looking into using an Arduino Duemilanove with it for micro controller

This kit was developed by a fellow LMR member, OddBot. He workd for Dagu company in China. He has developed a few other robotic kits, including a couple of
Arduino robot kits
that will come out soon. You can take a look at the

I ordered one of their "Mr. Robot" kits and it sucked completely. Not sure if it applies to the others as well.
