28 pin DIP socket question?

I am soldering the 28 pin DIP socket for the 50$ robot and I was wondering which way to put it in. I don't know which side is the top and which is the bottom. Does it matter as long as I put my microcntroller in the right way?

Yup, doesnt matter as long as the MCU goes in right.
