seven servos current draw ??

i am making my project wireless so.in the receiver side there are seven servo motors connected to atmega48a ..now problem is current drawn by seven servos wnt be satisfied if i used dry batteries(current drawn is about 1 AMP with load) ..and step down from main supply wud kill my project tag to be wireless ...plz help

You can always use more batteries in parallel. Will in happen that all seven servos will be working at the same time and fully loaded? If answer is NO, You can get away with less mAh, hence smaller size power packs.
