Question About Adding A Servo In Project Designer
«

Hey guys,
In Project Designer, when I add a hardware PWM servo it asks for the "center" and "range" of the servo. What are these parameters and where can I find the information I need? I am using a Hitec Hs- 65mg servo.
Thanks

Servo-city's website has a lot of specs for Hitec and Futaba servos. The HS-65MG is listed
here
. I like the picture because it makes it fairly self-explanatory:
As you can see neutral is at 1500 and it can range + or - 900 for a total range of 600 to 2400 microseconds. Of course these are idealized and may vary some from servo to servo, particularly if you buy generic servos. I recommend testing the range of the servo so you can get full range without driving it outside its limits.
