i'm newbie here..i made a final year project which is line following robot using m86hc11..
can anybody here help me explain to me can it be done with m86hc11 cause i found many line follower using PIC but never find one using m86hc11..i'm confuse is it can be done??

I'm sure it can be done with an HC11. A friend of mine made a more complex control system than a line-follower with an HC11 in a robot contest a few years ago.
I don't know much about the chip myself, but it's got all the basics - I/O, timers, etc.

yes..i have some basic about M68HC11 but i dont know much about advance programming in 6811..
i believe i can get some information and help here..
i know by using PIC is much easier but my scope project is using m68hc11
so,what are your opinion different between PIC and M68HC11

The difference between the 2 is not opinion, but well documented information. Check out the specs for both and compare.

thank...i've been search for the different of this two,but i never find the line follower using 6811..i think PIC is much better for controlling robot..
so i'm curios about my project..which is can be done in time or i never finish my work...
