This summer we may have internship positions for MechE and CSdisciplines as well.Education•Second year or above, majoring in a related field•Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPAJob DescriptionThe EE/CE internship will allow students in related fields the opportunity to work alongside ourEE team on numerous military and civilian projects including Unmanned Ground Vehicles,Robotic Nursing Assistants, and Next-Generation Robotic Manipulators. This internship will betailored to the student's individual strengths and interests with potential tasks including:Schematic Capture/PCB Layout, Firmware Development, Control System Design, LabviewDevelopment, and Prototype Assembly and Wiring. Internship candidates should be extremelyself-motivated and capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking team environment.Internship is a part-time or full-time, paid position, minimum of 16 hours/week, lasting between3 and 6 months.Required Skills and Experience•Programming background•Circuit design experience•Working knowledge of hardware/system debugging using common test equipment•US citizenshipDesired Skills and Experience•Layout experience•Labview•Database programming•Knowledge of C programming•Embedded systems design, including software design and coding•Experience with Altium or equivalent PCB design software•Experience writing software in a Linux-based environment•Knowledge of motors, motor drive electronics and control system design•Cabling, crimping, and wire routing skillset
