IROBOT-wireless control
« on: January 23, 2010, 12:01:05 AM »
Hello everyone!

I am trying to control more than 2 irobots at the same time and also in real time using gumstix and my PC as main server. I am using QuaRC and simulink models to control them. It is not working well. Does anyone have idea about how to control multiple roombas' velocity, motion etc. using PC or some kind of wireless controller.

Can you be more descriptive about your problem?

Both Irobots will have the same command set. So either you need to establish 2 wireless links, one to each irobot, or have a master controller on each irobot (is that what the gumstix's are doing?) with a different address; on the same wireless link. That way your PC could send out "irobot1,drive,100" and only one irobot would listen.
