Sankyo LLN4B21
« on: May 04, 2007, 11:03:22 AM »
Hi there.
I recently scrapped out an old VCR and took out of it a Sankyo LLN4B21 60416-C motor. I tried to find his datasheet but I had no luck. I'm wondering if someone can help me out, and tell me the specs of this motor.
these photos were made with my phone, sorry for bad quality.

Thanks.

hmmmm my google search failed . . .

since you have the motor, you can always run tests on it.

for example, to determine full load current, get out some plyers and hold the shaft still while measuring current on a lab bench power supply.

or by putting weights on the plyers you can determine full load torque.

voltage on that motor is probably between 6V and 12V, and should probably be written on the motor. if the motor overheats, you are applying too much voltage.

I think it is 12 V because it looks "big".
Well thanks, I will try to do some experiments
oh, forgot to say, thank you for this great site :) lots of useful informations
