Motor with Motor driver

How would you know if a motor is compatible with a motor driver? i am using a 6volt dc motor and want to connect it to some motor driver board, but how do i choose this motor driver board(just for the sake of working, it does not matter about the connections that the motor driver board has, i will deal with that later ^^)?

look at the specs for the motor. you want a motor driver that can handle the stall current of the motor. then its jsut a case of whatever other features you want.
