new estimate on number of robots in the world
« on: April 22, 2010, 10:40:31 PM »
A new estimate on number of manufactured robots in the world. Supposedly around 8.6 million . . . but that includes toy robots as well.

It also shows that 1.3 million robots have already placed people in the work force. If its a 1:1 replacement, thats quite a lot of jobs! Stupid inefficient humans . . .

While I'm all for keeping humans in the workplace, I have to admit, robots to a much more efficient and better job (if programmed correctly).
