Bipedal Running/Fighting Robot

I don't know if you guys have seen this before, but I thought it was really interesting.  I've never seen a bipedal robot do the things the orange one did.  He runs (quickly) and even tackles the other guy.  I thought it was funny.  Why can he run when most bipedal robots only... shuffle?
