There is currently a race going on between robotics engineers and genetic engineers. Robotics engineers are trying to build machines from non-living parts capable of doing useful stuff. Genetic engineers are trying to build 'machines' from living parts capable of doing useful stuff. Im serious . . .

And in reality Im probably not that far from the truth . . .

Now on that note, someone please tell me what the heck this robot looking thingy is?

I dont really see how they do anything usefull, the first movie the "plant" looking robots is just blinking with there eyes and moving.
