Line follower tutorial question Can i use those big blue leds instead of small?

Hi , I'm trying to build the line follower robot , so i bought the components and everything is ok but for blue leds the shop didn't have the small ones which are coated with a blue layer , but they are bigger one , with transparent plastic layer and they shine blue too would that be ok for the project? i mean does these have different wave lengths or you know some different specs that won't work with the photoresistors?
