« on: August 23, 2010, 03:25:58 PM »
Anyone know how i can connect TI 14 pin microcontroller or a Sharp 20 pin microcontroller to a standard type A USB?
I found them and so have no schematics.

Give us the part number. There are hundreds of parts that fit the description you give.

But, there is basically a 99% chance that those are not USB chips, as USB is very new, and the vast majority of such chips designed to handle USB are surface mount.

Well first the TI chip is NOT even a microcontroller! It is a Dual J-K Flip-Flops With Clear.

The Sharp chip is unknown.

Did you try googling either of these ICs?
Did you google USB and look at the specs?
Did you go to the various microcontroller manufacturer's web sites and search on USB?

Any of these google searches would get you lots of info on USB including which microcontrollers could be connected to USB.
