Robo-one Bot

Hello Im sorta new but my father  is an electrical engineer and has been teaching me about mechanics and programming.  But Im starting to want to build a Robo-one bipedal robot.  I was wondering what servos would be best for that kind of jobs in general name what parts would be best for what .  Im just lost tryin to make this bot.  Im used to other kinds of robotsa not humanoids I just want to make a nice bot.

I recommend you to make a non-biped robot first . . . bipeds are really hard . . .

I was curious how your project was coming along.
