Robot Football Helmet

Just Thinking about building this one I have the base completed and I think the football helmet will be a 30" circle The base is 150 lbs and very strong 400 lb payload maybe any thoughts you guys Thanks Tom

I'm thinking about a 30" ball that I will use to apply wire mesh and some axle shaft for a good strong base and then use fiberglass cloth for this robots body any suggestions or tips for using this plan ?
