CAN SONOR DETECT COINS IN A MINE?

HI FRIENDS,
I'AM NEEHARIKA.
 
CAN A SONAR BE USED TO DETECT AN IRON COIN THAT IS 3 Cm DEEP IN A SAND PIT?
HOPE TO SEE MY QUESTION REPLIED AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE. :) ???

No, it cannot. I believe ultrasound can though . . .

If you want to detect that coin, you need a 'metal detector' setup to measure magnetic fields.
