audio / video signals through microcontroller
« on: December 09, 2010, 02:17:09 PM »
This may be a dumb question, but.... can the microcontroller pass audio / video signals through it? For example, if an electret microphone (or mems breakout) sends the voltage signal into the analog input on the controller board, can that be sent to, for example, a speaker, or computer speaker, and reproduce the audio? ...or, do you just get some voltage readings?

Likewise, can a video signal be passed through the microcontroller card?

(trying to avoid a USB/ethernet/wifi solution, but willing to go that route if necessary)
