$50 robot tutorial 4.8v battery pack

Im trying to set up the capacitor on my circuit but the instructions say if using the 4.8v battery pack don't connect the positive lead to the transistor so where do i plug it up at? by looking at the picture i was thinking the 5 pin header behind the capacitor.
