$50 robot programming help...

Hi,

    I am currently working on the $50 robot.  I wonder if we can download the programming code without having to build the circuit first? and will there be a risk if we build the circuit and have the programming code downloaded into the microcontroller later?

always good to do the easy(and free) part of getting software and program running before making the circuit

i am sure there is no risk
you will need to build the circuit first to program the chip (see you do the right wiring 10pin or 6pin depending on your programer)
