Joystick control

Hi everyone!!
I want to control my robot using a sony PS-2 joystick(for that matter any gamepad/controller). The robot should be wired instead of wireless. I am not much into electronics and computers either. Can anyone explain or post some links of the tutorial to interface a joystick with a robot? Any ideas where I could find any info regarding this?

Follow the above instructions exactly if you're using an Arduino, or translate the library to your microcontroller's API if you're using a different one.
