How to design a complicated crankshaft in a simplest way?
« on: June 01, 2011, 10:23:22 AM »
Hello everyone,
I want to build a small spiderbot,
I want to use only 1 motor and distribute the force to the 8 legs through crankshaft,
is there a simple way to design such a crankshaft?
Any advice welcomed:) .

Thank you.

Hi,

Google "four-bar" (not "foo-bar")..
Regards,
Søren

A rather fast and fairly heavy robot with quite large wheels needs what? A lot of power?
Please remember...
Engineering is based on numbers - not adjectives
