servos programming

HI, I am asking about the 50 dollar project, more specifically about servos programming. I downloaded the .hex file and wanted to upload it, got all the OKs in the programming part except for Flash which reads: fail. What shall I use as a header file? Source file is attached automatically when I set up a new project. Do I need it? I am just trying to use the microcontroller programming skills to servos programing, but sth is wrong obviously.
