uBlox software, what does Fix Mode 2/3D mean?

I have a uBlox gps, and I think the Rx line is fried. It seems to be completely unable to receive commands.

Anyway, I need it to be in airborne mode by Saturday, and I'm trying to figure out what mode it's already in. It might not need to be changed if it's already configured.

Attached is a screenshot from the uBlox evaluation software . . . what does Fix Mode 2/3D mean? It said only 3D for awhile, then it changed to 2/3D on it's on. Does anyone know if this is airborne mode?
