Wifi Robot Question.
« on: August 10, 2011, 01:39:57 AM »
I wanted to do a Wifi Robot with camera compatibility and be controlled by Wifi. I was wondering what motor controller I can use to sync to my Intel ATOM motherboard? I do not want to spend $500+ for a motor/speed controller. I know I can use roboteq motor controller. But I dont want to spend too much on my first robot. Any ideas?

Without having an idea what motors you're using, it's hard to say this is the controller you need. But take a look at the Dimension Engineering motor controllers and pick the one that suits your setup. While you're there, you might need to pick up a switching voltage regulator to power your electronics (microcontroller, sensors...) from your beefy batteries.
Check out the uBotino robot controller!
