Hi,

where can I buy bump sensors ??? ??? ??? Or is it very simple to make one myself?
A simple bumper switch can be made from a length of piano wire (music wire), or eeven a spring from a dried out ball pen.
A sensor which detects obstacles before actually touching them can be made with IR light.
Any robotics shop will have something if you don't wanna make it yourself.

Google should help you find thousands of links.
Regards,
Søren

A rather fast and fairly heavy robot with quite large wheels needs what? A lot of power?
Please remember...
Engineering is based on numbers - not adjectives
