need highly accurate linear actuator needed
« on: November 01, 2011, 06:26:42 AM »
I'm also looking for a means to provide linear actuation but at a much higher accuracy. The specs I need are:
  • At least 10 micron/step
  • Need to be able to oscillate at about 1Hz for a distance 300 micron for an extended period of time.
  • force will be very very low so that shouldn't be an issue.
  • stroke length of approx 60mm
  • Budget  200 euros
Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Plenty here but you'll have to check specs and ask for prices yourself.

A rather fast and fairly heavy robot with quite large wheels needs what? A lot of power?
Please remember...
