[HELP] Newbie making RC sumo robot

Hi guys 
                 i just join this forum today. i am a student who studies electronics course .so i had plan to make a RC sumo robot with my team for final year project but none of us had any experience.so i am here to find out from you guys any video or tips through the internet to make the sumo robot .   

we need to build it the sumo robot  20cm X 20cm maximum and maximum 3kg 

i hope you guys can give me some tips and sorry for my bad english
