« on: March 13, 2012, 07:45:42 AM »
I have been trying to use AVR studio 5 and Webbotlib for programming, the problem i am having is that the setup of AVR studio 5 is not simple or straightforward, and keeps giving me errors

Anyone having success with webbotlib and AVR Studio 5?

If so, could you give me some tips?

Keep up the good work Webbot

Can you explain what you've done to try to get it working?  It is ALMOST the same as AVR Studio 4, except all the library linking stuff is in weird places.  If I were to guess, you're not including libm.a and libc.a, although I could be wrong?  How are you including webbotlib?

I'm kinda avoiding AVRStudio5 at the moment. Mainly coz I'm working on WebbotLib Studio which will automatically provide a standard toolchain. This gets round problems whereby the compiler that comes with AVRStudio5 is different to AVRStudio4 and is different again to the version that Mac/'nix people may use.
Bear with me....
