Mounting Things Straight

Hey guys,

I am just wondering what method you guys using to mount your components straight?  The reason I'm asking is because I was mounting brackets for holding my relay in and I found it difficult to mount them straight. 

I have to mount pillow blocks soon and I need those close to perfectly straight.  Any methods you care to share?
