Need help on pick and place Robot
« on: April 11, 2012, 09:19:24 AM »
Hi,

I am an Electronic engineer and would like to make a prototype pick and place robot. I am good at board design and programming but i am not sure on how to design the mechanical parts for the robot.

My requirement is to design a pick and place robot with a payload of not more than 500g. the payload will be a metallic object which can be of any shape. If any one can help me with a basic design concepts from there i can develop a robust industrial pick and place robot.

Please provide some inputs so that it will be usefull to start with.

Thanks in advance.

I get paid to play with robots - can't beat that with a stick.
