I am participating in a competition called Robocup Jr Rescue. I'm sure many of you have heard of it. For those who have, I have a few questions and am looking for some advice and words of wisdom. I have to create an autonomous robot using the Lego RCX kit.

Which would benefit me more, one or two light sensors?
Would it be beneficial to have more than one impact sensor on multiple sides of the robot, not just the front?
Also are there any problems I may not foresee right now (still in design process/ problem formulation)
