Upgrading serial communication rs232 to wireless bluetooth
« on: April 30, 2012, 10:11:06 AM »
Hello everyone,
i was wondering if somebody had any experience with it . i would like to make a bluetooth connection between my atmega32 and my laptop.
i'm not sure if it's possible but i would like to connect BLUETOOTH USB DONGLE to rs232 serial bridge in the following:
On the PCB:
Atmega32 UART >> DB9 connector >> USB 2.0 to rs232 cable>> male USB to Female USB connector >>BLUETOOTH USB DONGLE
on my laptop:
My laptop has already built in bluetooth 2.0 EDR .
is it possible to power up the BLUETOOTH USB DONGLE if i connect a power line 5V from PCB to the DB9 connector?
what about pairing issues?
appreciate any help!
