Help: Need help with AVRISP2 programmer on Mac OS

Hi All!

I am new to all this electronics stuff. I started building the $50 robot.

I recently bought a AVRISP2 programmer. I use a MacBook. I am totally confused as to how to start using this new programmer to transfer program from my computer to the chip.

Initially I used to do this via a USB cable that I got from the Nerdkit. So I have XCODE on the laptop and gcc too is there.

Do I need to do anything else in order to start using this programmer?

Please give me a step by step instruction as to what I should do to get this new programmer started.
