Any suggestions for non robot specific mechanical forum?

So every once in a while, I come here with a random project, most of the time not entirely related to robots, and I feel bad.  Does anyone have any suggestions for another forum like the Mechanics forum or electronics forum here.  The electronics forums are easy enough to find, what I'm really looking for is a mechanical design forum aka "what's the best way to build this", or "which way is better to build this?" 

I've searched, but I haven't really found any open mechanical design forums that get any amount of traffic. 

Any help? 

(Yes, I do have a project and yes I do have a question, but I'll hold off until I get an answer because it is definitely not robot related.  Sure it has all of the same elements (motors, gears, electronics etc) but it's not a robot.)
