Computer based Robot
« on: June 06, 2012, 08:39:00 PM »
I'm looking at build a robot that has a computer embedded inside the body of it to run programs and control the micro controllers used in it like the axon. I'm not sure what kind of pc to use I was either thinking of using a net book computer or a Acer aspire revo desktop pc due to its size. Which do you think would be the easiest to use? I want to run this off a battery inside the robot either way so if its the net book it would run on the battery tell it died then switched to the net book battery or if its the desktop unit run it just straight off the battery. I'm open to suggestions and if you have questions please let me know and i'lll try to explain further. Also which would give me the best performance with the least amount power consumption?
