it might be a stupid question please bear with me.

can pin PD.2(INT0) and PD.3(INT1) of atmega32 be used in normal port operations (say output) while acting as external interrupt input connected to two switches?

similarly can PD.0(RX) and PD.1(TX) usart be used simultaneously for port operations? for example connecting it to motor driver for driving the dc motor and also for connecting to usart to pc simultaneously?

thanks
ankit
