3D imaging sonar

Hello eveyone,

As the title say i am trying to get a 3d imaging sonar.

 My adviser want me to use a sonar to build a map of an indoor track (Room for example).

Application for now use it to map indoor environment later on I am interested on mapping swimming pools.

Can anyone recommend what imaging sonar to buy?

Shall i go with 2d over 3d?

Any other idea would be great.

I am planning to go with a 2D imaging sonar.

Here is another question, if i bought P450 from blueview. Do you think it will work above wateR?

since they are build for underwater?
