Wind velocity sensor advice (small and cheap)
« on: June 06, 2013, 03:24:14 PM »
Iím working on a project where Iíd like to visualize wind forces across someoneís back. Iím looking to build an array of sensors to measure wind velocity or wind pressure at multiple points (10+ locations on the back). Iíd like a small, fairly inexpensive sensor with a high sample rate and fairly high accuracy.

Any ideas would be great.
Iíve been looking into some designs for hot wire anemometers, but Iím unsure of the accuracy.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I looked at a few and Specs said accuracy of 0.3% for one but this is a $1000 unit.

Are you going to buy or build?
