problem with programming attiny 85
« on: November 09, 2013, 06:21:53 PM »
i  just bought 4 ATtiny 85 microcontrollers and used my arduino uno to program them but i upload the sketch i get a message saying the output is undefined,digitial write is undefined and other messages as well

i used the blink program, i wired everything properly, i downloaded and used the attiny 85 file so i could select arduino as an isp(under tools- boards)

what am i doing wrong?
could i be because they're 20Mhz from sparkfun
i look at a few tutorials but i can find a solution

i get this error:
Blink.ino:10:21: error: Arduino.h: No such file or directory
Blink.ino: In function 'void setup()':
Blink:15: error: 'OUTPUT' was not declared in this scope
Blink:15: error: 'pinMode' was not declared in this scope
Blink.ino: In function 'void loop()':
Blink:20: error: 'HIGH' was not declared in this scope
Blink:20: error: 'digitalWrite' was not declared in this scope
Blink:21: error: 'delay' was not declared in this scope
Blink:22: error: 'LOW' was not declared in this scope

I was able to fix it, the programmer I used for the attiny 85 weren't working so i used another file and it worked perfectly

got it from this site:
