send data from pc to mc via serial port

hey guys , i want to interface my 8051 micro into the pc through the serial port (COM)
but i dont know how to send my program from pc to the mc
any help?
is there a code to write in the pc to send data to the mc ? thanks already for any replys

search google for ic-prog this uses the serial port to send your program through a serial port
